To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 其實一個人食飯有時真係唔知食咩好,想食多啲款又驚食唔哂,今日咁啱見到原來依間牛角有早食放題優惠,咁就唔使諗咁多,一於試吓。由於有折,本想點最貴的放題,但侍應好心提醒由於巴西凍肉問題,有某些種類暫停供應,咁啱最貴既menu 有好多無 (估唔到咁多巴西貨), 所以就揀返中間個種。雖然無咁牛舌同雞,其實都仲有好多選擇,最好食始終是牛,牛肋內同一口牛都好食,不過每次點既質素都有點參差,有時會比較多肥膏。牛肚唔知係唔係自己燒得不好,燒極都好硬,好難咬,所以無食到。另外,洋蔥都極易燒焦,好難處理。豬頸肉好爽,點了辣汁好食。包埋生菜一齊食最好。埋單$250.8, 不錯。
