To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 曾幾何時記得這裡還是潮江春的時候,已經光顧過不下十數次,感覺相當不俗。舊地重遊今次已改了牌頭變成北京樓,發現菜單雖略為修飾了一點,但是食物仍然以京滬菜為骨幹。 素鵝, 3.5/5先點了這款素鵝試試看。一向喜歡任何有腐皮的食物,這款素鵝自然最合心意。中間的餡料還有冬菇和甘筍絲,不錯。 無錫小籠包, 4/5小籠包皮薄而湯汁鮮甜,入口剛好是一口的份量,加上肉質相當鮮嫩,效果比之前的素鵝還要好。 炸醬麵, 3/5麵條爽口彈牙,口感比預期中更佳,但是這款炸醬相信是個人吃過之中最為清淡的一款,輕盈的鹹味和辣味在炸醬麵中極其少見,整體上未能麵條的味道變得更加豐富,這款普通。其實還有點其他一兩款菜式,不過可能初開業的原故,落單有點混亂,等了超過半小時還未到下最後決定一併取消。一貫北京樓的水準,起伏不會太大,但是驚喜也不會太多。
