To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 平安夜,只想與男友簡簡單單食一餐,來到九龍灣太興,因為天氣都凍凍地,食煲就最合適啦。兩人,叫了一個羊腩煲($168+$19轉套餐),西蘭花斑片($78+$19轉套餐),餐飲轉加$28變燉湯,選了杏汁燉豬肺。一上枱先來西蘭花斑片,斑片肉質彈牙,菜炒得剛好,爽口且入味。水準保持,不太咸。羊腩煲,以爐仔上枱,汁醬調製得不錯,很濃稠,材料十足,有很多件羊腩,枝竹,冬菇,馬蹄等,枝竹吸收了醬汁的味道,很入味,羊肉炆得很"淋",食完整個人都暖暖的。至於燉湯,選了家中很難會飲到得杏汁豬肺湯,一打開燉鍋蓋,濃濃的杏汁迎面而來,入口很滑溜。。。豬肺燉很很淋,邊飲湯邊食湯料,感覺很潤。。。總結,雖然價格是比平常小菜貴,但太興廚房食物可以保持穩定水準,而且地方闊落,很舒適,值得一去再去。

一上枱先來西蘭花斑片,斑片肉質彈牙,菜炒得剛好,爽口且入味。水準保持,不太咸。
