福臨門雖然被稱為富豪飯堂,但它給我最大的感受,是實而不華。家全七福雖然是七哥離巢另闖天下之作,但作風同樣是貨真價實不欺人。這間中菜館是朋友J君的強烈推介之一,只是因緣際會下一直都沒有機會,直至最近店方遷址,便決定來試試。從灣仔站C出口走到華美粵海酒店只需5分鐘,甫踏出升降機門,便看見一大堆祝賀喬遷的花籃,店方兩邊樓底比較低,只有大廳中央比較有高聳的空間感,可幸餐桌之間的距離尚算寬闊,不然會很侷促。金碧輝煌的天井跟平實的紅木地板,還有牆上簡樸的裝潢則形成很有趣的對比。這兒的點心和甜品款式頗多,價錢也較一般酒店中菜廳便宜一成多。喜歡重口味的朋友,一定不會錯過椒鹽田雞腿,還有蜜汁燒鳳肝,我們比較土,蝦餃燒賣已經很心滿意足。最先來的蝦餃,$60一客四件。端來的時候,蒸汽瀰漫,要稍待熱氣散開,餃皮才不會又黏又爛。這兒的蝦餃,外形飽滿,內裡蝦仁不算特別爽,但筍的清香卻異常突出。餃皮雖然算不上很Q彈,但在十多道摺口下仍然顯得透薄誘人。叉燒包($60/三件)比較小巧飽滿,掰開已經嗅到蜜香,內裡的叉燒肥瘦混雜,包身爽爽的,不會黏牙,相當不錯。在點心紙上找不到想要的雞扎,唯有改點百花釀魚肚($60/三件)
