To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 來過潮庭多次,每次都讓我很滿意。我們這次五個人,AE 咭有七五折,其實甚為抵吃,食物水準超級高。這裏吃的是潮菜,以潮州酒樓而言,這間水準算是高級了。鹵水拼盤,我們選了鵝片及墨魚。普寧豆腐,也是正宗潮州菜。川椒雞,很惹味。𧐢蛒也是我很喜歡的菜式,蠔味重。春菜煲,不是潮州菜館不容易吃到,菜很冧,我很喜歡;這是我自少就吃的家常菜式,家中煮,還會加上排骨。沙爹牛河也是我的至愛;河粉不會太冧,彈牙,沙爹味道一流,牛肉大大片,很新鮮。炒飯也做得不錯,飯很乾身。雙面黃很考功夫,外脆內軟,這道菜在外面不容易吃到,因為真的要時間去做。即興還來了一個魚蛋粉,味道也是不錯,不過就沒有甚麼特別了。釀豆腐,比較清,很健康。飯後意猶未盡,還來了一個綠豆爽,很久沒有吃過了。甚為滿意的一餐,我還會經常來;如要來就要訂位,因為星期五,六經常滿座。
