每當有空時,都喜歡在附近一帶尋寶,就在大街一角,隱身了一間不為知的藝術食店,而店主喜歡將食物及藝術相結合,的確是一個有趣的構思。The Popsy Room今次主題是美籍藝術家Tracy Lee Griffith的《絲帶與顱骨Ribbons & Skulls》系列。其實有六道菜的「顱骨Skulls」($988 ) 及八道菜的「絲帶Ribbons」($1,388)套餐。而今次只簡單地試了六道菜的「顱骨Skulls」。餐包外層微脆,中間位軟熟,塗點牛油更可口。化裝舞會Masquerade的牛羚頭骨黑松露意大利火腿迷你多士‧鵪鶉蛋‧鮮檸檬蛋黃醬Black Truffle Prosciutto Toastini, Quail Egg, Fresh Lemon Mayo ,當中的迷你多士賣相小巧精緻,外層很香脆,而餡料用上黑松露,芳香馥郁,齒頰留香,外面還用Prosciutto包裹,帶來絲絲的咸香,side dish是鵪鶉蛋以及鮮檸檬蛋黃醬,平均了味覺及口感。穿過水池Across The Pond帶子他他配青蔥香蒜醬‧青蘋果‧鮮甜芒果士多啤梨醬Scallop Tartar with Crisp

帶子他他配青蔥香蒜醬‧青蘋果‧鮮甜芒果士多啤梨醬Scallop Tartar with Crisp Shallot and Pesto, Green Apple, Tangy Mango and Sweet Strawberry Sauce帶子他他新鮮嫩滑,蘸點一下香草sauce,更覺清新,再加上青蘋果、芒果及士多啤梨醬,用不同的鮮果來帶出清爽的氣息。

世界派對World Party
很別緻的煮蜆‧西洋菜海鮮忌廉湯Fresh Clams, Crisp Watercress, Seafood Crème Soup,完全不覺腥味,喝起來更覺鮮甜,配上新鮮肉嫩的蜆肉,難道是象徵了不同種族的融和 ?

牛油鵝肝飯‧法國燒春雞卷‧甘筍仔‧沙律菜Buttery Foie Gras Rice, Silky French Srping Chicken Roll, baby Carrots, Micro Greens春雞卷雖未至於嫩滑,但雞味會較濃,飯粒加入鵝肝原以為會很rich,食落又粒顆分明,加上有沙律菜伴碟,少了一分油膩。

紅酒燴牛臉頰肉和慢煮豬肉二選一中,點了紅酒燴牛臉頰肉,酒香濃郁,肉質鬆軟入味,聽說比慢煮豬肉好得多。

甜品是以綠茶脆米餅‧紅菜頭醬‧菠蘿、龍珠果‧紅醋栗‧雲呢嗱忌廉Green Tea Crispy Surprise, Sweet Beetroot Sauce, Pineapples, Gooseberries, Red Currant, Fresh Vanilla Crème賣相很清麗,口感有香脆又有軟綿,味道有酸有甜,層次分明,令人又愛又恨。

壓軸是法式小甜點Petit Four,4款不同口味的Macaroon,外脆內煙韌,甜度可以再強勁一點。
餐後來一杯伯爵茶,清清甜膩的口感,亦好好地品嚐了一個非洲之旅。
