To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 常常看到雅濤閣的綠VAN車身有牛角在香港仔新分店開幕的廣告,就趁朋友約食晚飯時提議去試食。我們取了籌就同朋友係商場逛一陣,折返牛角時過了一個籌號,咪行去找戴頸巾的接待小姐。佢沒有望我們一眼,俾一個OK手勢就繼講電話。等了一陣等她講完電話,她就開始叫籌,見佢叫過了幾個籌號都不叫我們,我們覺得"唔對路",就問佢記唔記得我們有同你講過籌喔!?佢答我們:"鬼叫你地過籌係你地唔啱,係要等我清哂飛先有得俾你地,依家有啦。"我地聽完好無奈。入到去幾有氣氛,職員好齊地喊了句日文,雖然聽唔明,哈哈。個男職員好客氣地幫我地拉凳,呢樣係沒有預到。而且落完單好快就有得食,落食物飲品的男女服務生幾nice,會主動話我地知點燒好食d,同朋友食得幾開心,走的時候班職員又好齊地喊了句聽唔明的日文,個剎那係有再幫襯的打算。但係一出到去見到個接待小姐做低頭族,連客人走都沒有知覺 下次見到佢,真係猶豫入唔入去食,唔想受佢氣。第一個上的是鹽味牛油帶子,實在太肚餓等唔切,落菜位姊姊幫我地擺係網中間再開最大火,果然好快就食得。王樣!蜜糖香腸----吃不出蜜糖味,又易燒焦,但係都好食既。黑胡椒蜜糖豚肉--第一塊被我燒焦了,落甜品位

黑胡椒蜜糖豚肉--第一塊被我燒焦了,落甜品位男服務生教我地用中火放網側邊燒,之後的都沒有燒焦啦。
