This particular restaurant stands out not just for its excellent spicy soup base, but also for its impressive fish maw chicken soup. While not top-tier quality, it’s generous in portion with large, well-rehydrated fish maw pieces and fresh, tender chicken, free from any off-putting odors. The thick, sticky consistency of the soup, best enjoyed before the hot pot meal begins, proves far more appealing than the superficial costume gimmicks.
