Restaurant: Jashan Celebrating Indian Cuisine

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 平日食飯多食日韓或西餐為主, 友人想食下其他菜, 所以便選了位於中環的Jashan Indian Cuisine食印度嘢. 店內燈光昏暗, 幾有情調. 而且擺放了一些得獎的獎座和獎狀. 坐下後, 店員先奉上welcome soup and food. 湯是帶有咖喱味, 少許辣, 而小食似薯餅. 來食印度嘢, 我必飲Mango Lassi. 飲的時候充滿芒果的味道, 夠清甜, 好好飲. 小食點了 Kadak Jhinga. 這是蝦來, 一共有兩款口味, 一款是唔辣. 一款是辣, 可以試晒兩款口味. 蝦的外層和平日食的有點不同, 外層不是脆身, 蝦幾大隻, 而且蝦肉夠爽口彈牙. 由於我唔太食得辣, 我自己鍾意食唔辣那一款多一點. NAAN也是必點, 有多款口味選擇, 最後, 我地選了芝士味. 一客有三塊. 入口時有淡淡的芝士香味, 而質感帶少許煙煙韌韌, 這是我喜愛的口感. 食NAAN除了單食外, 也可以配醬汁一齊食, 所以我地點了一客Butter Chicken. 上枱時已香味撲鼻. 我第一時間先食雞肉. 雞肉肉質尚算嫩滑, 最鍾意佢是啖啖肉.
