To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 昨天,我們farewell一個同事,於是就請他到酒樓食lunch , 我們選了富臨皇宮,一來位置近公司,二來這間酒樓出品算唔錯。我們到達後,點了一些點心,籠仔荷葉班片飯和海皇瑤柱泡飯。點心有酥炸鵝肝, 雖然賣相不錯,但鵝肝的味道一般,中式鵝肝畢竟有點腥味,而且酥炸始終油膩,所幸的是飲茶能夠沖淡點油膩感。接著是煎薄罉,薄罉皮厚身點,個人覺得薄罉皮薄較好味,但亦有人覺得薄罉皮厚身會較飽肚, 跟著來的點心是牛肉燒賣,酥皮叉燒包,牛肉腸等,味道適中。這裏比較有驚喜的是籠仔荷葉班片飯,班腩片很新鮮雪白,籠仔飯香氣四溢,因為有蒜蓉,蔥花等配料襯托,飯吸收了這些配料和荷葉清香,香味繞舌,味道一流。至於海皇瑤柱泡飯也是不俗之選, 泡飯內有魷魚, 魚片,冬瓜,冬菇,瑤柱等配料,用料很足夠,泡飯則硬身了點,但湯底很清甜,令人愛不釋手,亦令第一次食泡飯的我對這款飯的食法有一個很好的印象。總括而言, 這間酒樓中午餐食物質素可以,價錢亦算合理。
