To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 早排有同事想食中菜館,近近地去了這間中菜館試食。中菜館環境都很大,而且仲可以見到唔同的燒味在玻璃窗上面高掛住。而裝修很有古典的味道。在點餐前,先會上菜拍青瓜的冷盤開胃小食。之後我們點了兩個set lunch 。一個是牛腩擔擔麵 +三娘春卷$88,還有一個是金華火腿鮮菌炒飯+紫甘藍雞絲粉皮$88。因為愛食小籠包關係點了小籠包$38 4隻同片皮鴨半隻 $168。三娘春卷春卷得比較軟身,不太脆口。而且餡料比較油膩。牛腩擔擔麵擔擔麵不會乾身,麵條順滑而且不會捲成一團團。牛腩爽口多汁,十分滋味。金華火腿鮮菌炒飯飯炒得很乾身,不過餡料同飯份量足夠,味道一般,不是太突出。紫甘藍雞絲粉皮份量較少,但雞絲嫩滑,粉皮晶瑩通透,配上胡麻醬,清涼可口。 小籠包多汁鮮美,而且皮薄,一咬小籠包就已經爆汁。片皮鴨片皮鴨整得很香脆,外皮十分之脆口,而鴨肉嫩滑而帶點醬香。配上青瓜加蔥,很好食。味道還不錯。但價錢偏貴。
