To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今天晚上,和家人一行六人,在銅鑼灣皇室堡的八月花共享晚餐。 點了的餸菜包括:花雕醉乳鴿(酒味甚輕,差點吃不出有花雕)松子竹笙魚米(好味,但有少許油膩感)蒜子火腩扣大鱔(大鱔很入味,但火腩就少了些,只得兩塊)翡翠炒生班球(西蘭花味道偏鹹,班球還可以)鴛鴦豆腐會加拿大龍蝦肉( 原來鴛鴦豆腐是蒸豆腐及豆腐潤)生菜包乳鴿崧(乳鴿與生菜,味道很夾)安格斯半熟牛肉沙律 (牛肉竟然全熟,沙律汁偏濃)花膠絲瑤柱泡菜苗(是今晚唯一一樣比較清淡的餸)之後再點了以下的甜品: 蛋白杏仁茶,薑汁雙皮奶,龍鬚雞蛋散,蓮蓉西米焗布甸,雪糕楊枝甘露幾款熱食的甜品都不夠熱,蓮蓉西米焗布甸的蓮蓉少得吃了也不覺,蛋白杏仁茶偏甜,薑汁雙皮奶太硬....

Other Info. : 雖然八月花採用了機械人把廚房的菜送到每張枱旁, 但酒樓的侍應明顯不足, 往往是機械人已把菜送到枱旁,然後還要等一會兒侍應才來把菜捧上。 某信用卡有優惠,餸菜75折後, 人均消費港幣250 (折扣前人均消費為港幣330), 感覺性價比不高。
