中學同學回加拿大之前,相約見多次面,來到銅鑼灣,整座大廈都是食肆,他想吃串燒,試試這間鐵板串燒料理吧!門口撐著大燈籠,是日本餐廳常見的擺設,內裏地方不是很大,燈光幽暗,蠻有情調,若喜歡看大廚的手勢,可選擇吧頭檯,但今晚已被佔據。好友負責點菜,他點了好幾款串燒。先來劍魚腩,啖啖肉,油份重,魚香,脂香兼備。燒油甘魚較,油甘魚,在加拿大叫 Yellow Tail,肉質帶油性,好友和我都喜愛吮骨,因骨旁的肉最美味。雜菇豆腐,煎豆腐上煮了些雜菇,把平淡的豆腐添點新意。黑豚車厘茄,以半肥瘦的豬肉捲著車厘茄,車厘茄受熱後爆汁更好味。燒茄子,茄子去了皮,差些認唔出,上面放些木魚碎,不過不失。大蔥鴨肉,帶皮的鴨胸片,上面放蒜乾,大蔥絲,很惹味,但肉質較韌。紅豆雪糕,有粒粒紅豆,正!希望好友有空再回港,再細談串串往事。
