To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 奇型怪碟不便撈飯上碟是把飯碗大小鐵鍋的咖喱上在長方形淺盤上,盤的另一端倒cup了一碗白飯,如此型態實不便於咖喱汁撈飯,若是南亞餐廳如此上碟還可理解是為了賣相風情,師傅可能不太了解港人吃咖喱飯的習慣。小鍋咖喱薯仔佔多碗口大小盛咖喱的鐵鍋深若寸許,本身就裝不了太多咖喱(與菜單上的圖片有極大反差);更讓人失望的是馬鈴薯多,牛腩肉塊少。勉強只有四塊,每塊又比橡皮擦小,極其量是麥樂雞一開二。辣椒搶盡咖喱味淡咖喱裡摻雜了太多辣椒,嚐起來像沒有香料但一味追求辛辣的印度咖喱。既沒南亞咖喱的香,也不存在咖喱料理的奶油餘韻。這種咖喱確實不適合撈飯,作為醬料的一種「沾」來吃還勉強可以。
