To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

本局長是日中午於中環體察民情，但覺中環生機勃勃，不愧為香港之心臟。至一燒味飯店門外，見「龍記」招牌甚具威勢，遂長驅直入。店內尚算寬敞，牆上貼滿揮春、菜牌，報紙雜誌訪問等。見牆上一剪報寫此店乳豬、叉燒、燒鵝有「中環三寶」之稱，遂著小二來一乳豬飯，凍咖啡走甜。乳豬皮脆肉嫩，豬皮卜卜脆，肉半肥瘦，是為誠意之作。飯粒粒分明，豉油汁甜而不膩。驚喜的是凍咖啡亦有水準，有奶香，非九流茶記稀nelnel求其之作。總括而言，食物水準頗佳，本局長盡興而歸。
