To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

在一個小區內做2餸飯而且還要是素食來說十分不錯，外面的2餸飯如果不做素食，每日去都一樣，但這間小店可以做到每日不同之餘，還可以多飯少飯都可以。而且價錢很親民，吸引大量的人來光顧這間小店。上個星期得知老闆娘就做唔做了，這間素食不經不覺在這個小區經營了幾年，一打聽到她們已經頂手都有點捨不得，因為老闆娘用心煮素菜，而且還預有多元化的小食，雖然只做午市，而且每個午飯都有湯附送，個湯一飲就知無味精而且落足料，睇得出來有花心思及精心做。
