Foie Gras Torchon

Bee pollen, honeycomb & citrus segments

賣相亮麗,真的有點不想破壞,壓得混圓的鵝肝醬,靜靜地放在圓形的脆片內,旁邊伴以蜂蜜脆脆,又有蜜糖花粉與及柑橘,足以平和了油膩的口感。

再加上可以塗在小巧的多士,大家都不期然吃過不停。

Oat flake crusted Dorade roasted in brown butter with wild mushrooms, fregola & toasted almonds

鯛魚吃過不知多少次,但用燕麥作配搭,令人聯想起麥皮蝦,形成外脆內軟的質感,加上野菌、fregola與及杏仁片,伴以濃稠的牛油咖啡汁,味道非常獨特。

原來同線店Mr & Mrs Fox的名物,家陣已可以在The Continental亦品嚐到,寶在令人喜出望外。

特意點了個人最喜歡的medium rare,切開一半,是誘人的胭紅肉質,不單滿有肉味,而且有嚼口,還可以蘸點砵酒汁,讓肉香在口腔中游走,感覺真的太幸福了。

伴碟的西蘭花及藍芝士,是一個有趣的組合,個人幾欣賞。

Bombe Alaska

Vietnamese coffee flavoured bombe alaska with Frangelico ice cream & caramelised bananas

壓軸的甜品,單憑賣相已經知道花功夫,以忌廉吱出蓮花座的造型,確實帶點中國風,內藏了香滑的雲呢拿雪糕與及越南咖啡雪糕,再咬上一口脆榛子,形成複雜口感,相信就算不是甜魔一族,都會被深深吸引,唯一要挑剔的,就是太甜了,有少許改空間。

老實講,不論環境、地點、服務、氣氛及食物,都是沒得輸的好地方,囝囝的契爺,就是在同一個地點求婚成功的,就起來或多或少都有點淵源。

下年的結婚周年,我想已找到了地方慶祝!!
