To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今早妹妹話要食叉燒包,本來想去星光行2樓潮廷;點知去到要11:30才開門,現在10點唯有上翠園。當然翠苑有海景又新裝修,環境是一流的,但是茶錢三個人已經$54,其實好貴下。前菜是牛耳,妹妹當然開心,先來一個煎糯米雞,好味嘅,但太多餡了。。。反而食唔到糯米的味。蝦腸,唔明點解腸粉皮會咁厚,仲有啲蝦望咗一陣豆粉,而豆粉係有啲鹼水味道,好鬼怪,唔好食!叉燒包一籠兩個,其實可唔可以改三個呢?精緻啲會唔會更好呢? 咁大個見到都唔想食😂 妹妹食咗一個,第二個都打包。最好食就係個煎粉果,餡同皮比例適中,清清地但係又係炸嘢。全餐最好食,我食了兩個!最失望就係潮州粉果,之前美心好好食,配埋潮州辣椒油真是頂級之作,但今日隻粉果不再脹卜卜,裏面啲餡花生嘅比例特別多,唔好食。連我最鍾意食嘅嘢都唔好食。so sad.....要隔一陣先會再去呢間飲茶! 清洗下失望的記憶
