To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 百分百餐廳素質向來以3隻字形容:過得去。以一間餐廳標準,未至於去到不得不食嘅地步。呢間百分百餐廳連住麵包店,幾方便居民。首先,四川麻辣牛肉飯,調味剛好唔太鹹,但食落係有辣味,如果唔特別食辣椒籽,其實接受得到,算小小辣。牛肉有香味,飯粒分開一粒粒,唔會痴住一舊咁。碟飯黎到個陣雖然未至於有鑊氣,但都熱。另外雞排蕃茄煎蛋意粉,湯底得蕃茄色,蕃茄渣,但冇蕃茄味,頂多係有色水嘅清湯意粉。意粉如果個湯底冇味,其實等於食冇味意粉。雞排煎得唔錯,皮脆肉嫩,咬落有口感。煎蛋就表現麻麻,普通太陽蛋漏汁。以整體表現講,被湯底拉低分數,算合格而已。我叫左份牛油煉奶多士,牛油係一片個種,即係菠蘿油個種。黎到個陣未融,因為飽唔算熱,但食落飽是脆皮,算不俗。飲品就叫左杏霜同凍華田。華田算濃郁,幾好味,可惜杏霜係花奶味,我唔太鍾意。服務態度良好,舉手一陣都有人過黎落單,衛生算乾淨。我會繼續試呢間餐廳唔同飯菜,但暫時俾我印象係一般,可以一試。
