To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 雖然呢次消費券食肆優惠並沒有舊年的闊綽但這集團嘅積極進取態度依然。我們用了超過500蚊有78折嘅優惠。是日只是叫咗一般家庭晚飯菜式,墨汁煎咸魚肉餅$148 份量是4人分的, 黑漆漆嘅肉餅。有咸魚嘅咸香同時肉餅又飽肚。係一個有水準嘅肉餅但4個人食比較合適。稻草鴨半隻$108 其實係個燻鴨, 以前食過。 應該係先用淡鹵水鹵過再用煙燻。所以第一啖係食到重煙燻味。煙燻令肉質收得乾身一點而味道不似鹵水般重咸味。雞湯蝦片煮米荳腐$148 這是個以雞湯主導嘅菜式, 中蝦一開二在底, 硬豆腐切幼絲在中層上面再有翠玉瓜絲同頂放大量金華火腿絲帶出咸鮮味。白飯同白粥都係$22/碗茶每位$20服務都係合乎水準!不過中間亦有一段插曲, 話說食到中途其中一個女服務員莫名其妙地放低一盤功夫茶!!! 亦沒有說多謝或者什麼? 一般潮州菜館不是結帳前才遞上功夫茶的嗎?這趟還是第一次遇到咁奇怪嘅招呼。
