To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今日又去駱駝漆大廈開餐。沒有既定目標,總之從最頂一層往下走,睇睇有哪一間又多人幫襯、又未食過就衝入去。估唔到在11樓就已經見到「五月星牛肉麵」全室滿座,亦未試過;決定等位。不到5分鐘,剛剛有客人結賬,順利入座。見到餐廳名字嘅時候,總是覺得似曾相識,但又明明從未幫襯過。諗諗吓,醒起原來之前食過兩間台灣牛肉麵,名字分別係「六兩三」同「三星」,唔怪得!沒有什麼室內裝修可言、甚至有點凌亂,同廠廈飯堂沒有大分別;亦同駱駝漆大廈內的大部份餐廳一樣,唔講究用餐環境。午市牛肉麵套餐一律包小食一客及飲品一杯;比起其他來自台灣的過江龍牛肉麵名店,要差不多$100 一碗、沒有小食飲品贈送、還要加一服務費,抵食很多 ⋯⋯ 始終係工廠大廈樓上舖,可以節省不少租金。小食份量真的很少,同中式酒樓贈送(其實收錢)的凉菜小食份量差不多。麻辣豬耳內的小豆芽及青瓜絲份量比豬耳還要多。雖然賣相麻麻,但原來用了麻油及麻辣香油調味,味道也算不錯;只略嫌麻油香味太重手、麻及辣就未夠。涼拌茄子清甜腍滑。招牌紅燒牛肉麵($78)即係最基本嘅台灣牛肉麵,選用牛腱肉,即是香港人所叫嘅金錢𦟌。質感同滷水牛𦟌接近,偏向爽口、有點硬身,雖然未至

招牌紅燒牛肉麵($78)即係最基本嘅台灣牛肉麵,選用牛腱肉,即是香港人所叫嘅金錢𦟌。質感同滷水牛𦟌接近,偏向爽口、有點硬身,雖然未至於硬到好似滷水牛𦟌的爽口;但這種質感就肯定唔係台灣牛肉麵應該有的鬆化軟腍口味。湯底雖然有少少香辣,但唔夠濃郁、太過清淡,缺少了複雜的香料及恰當辣度,同理想的台灣牛肉麵紅燒湯底有一段距離。

大部份正宗台灣牛肉麵只有三寶,滿漢牛肉麵($98)就唔係間間有得食,總覺得這個口味係香港人自己創造出來。湯底及麵條同招牌牛肉麵一模一樣,食材方面除了三寶的牛肉(牛腱肉)牛肚牛筋之外,還加入了牛丸切片半肥牛腩。牛丸彈牙,味道幾好;金錢牛肚就好唔掂,雖然軟腍,但唔彈牙、欠咬口,冇味道;切片半肥牛腩炆得夠腍,竟然比牛腱肉還要好吃,似乎唔係台灣牛肉麵應有的水準。

試管鹽酥雞($48)係餐廳招牌推介美食,將台式鹽酥雞的口味複雜化,在炸粉及鹽酥調味基礎上,增加了六款自主調味料:梅粉、芝士粉、香葱粉、孜然粉、辣粉及鹽酥雞粉。意念的確係幾好,但敗筆竟然在於最基本的鹽酥雞粒並不好吃。就算未食落口,睇賣相已經知道有問題:太乾、太硬、欠油脂,還要唔夠熱辣辣。
