To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 基本上侍應和服務員願意初心是好,但是不太專業,例如會因為以店舖趕着關門,向用膳,和正在談話的食客,催眠他們埋單,結帳,破壞本身的氣氛,這件事情如果在一些比較基層的地區或地段可能可以理解,但是在大會堂高端的地方,卻有這種不專業,服務態度和行為不相稱服務員和侍應,真的令人感到失望,希望餐廳可以在這方面着手,請不要在食客用餐的時候,拿着收錢機,叫他們拿信用卡或Visa出來,叫他們埋單,這種是很不尊重的行為。應該是食客用餐完畢,決定離開的時候,才埋單,什麼時候埋單是顧客的決定。

應該是食客用餐完畢,決定離開的時候,才埋單,什麼時候埋單是顧客的決定。
