To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 一月中星期四晚上,家庭晚餐。本來在家吃,由於一些原因導致要在外面找吃的,找個中間點就選了這酒家。其實之前斷斷續續來過兩三次,經驗不太好所以沒有再去,心想都那麼久可能有所改善,誰不知原來這是錯的。人不多,看到他們在做優惠,好像很多桌也有,於是先點半隻BB豬。BB豬上桌是原隻的半邊,而且有服務生即席剪開,擺放的不錯,有烤香。拍完照大家都逼不及待,夾一塊,乳豬肉少得可憐,全是肥膏再看回盤子,隔油紙上的油可以再炒一碟菜!整隻乳豬只咬了一下已經滿口是油,根本不能吃下去。之後是海参花膠肉掌煲,海參跟花膠有幾塊,鴨掌也有兩隻,菜甚麼的都夠份量,味道正常,不過不失的一道菜。最後有芝士焗龍蝦配伊麵底,列為最難吃芝士焗龍蝦之一。龍蝦炸得乾到不行,幾顆散在碟子不同角落,看著非常有淒涼感;味道是龍蝦伊麵跟芝士完全分開,之前兩道菜沒怎麼吃,不吃就餓著肚子走,不然根本不會吃。如果這家是街坊小店或屋邨酒家,我可能還不至於會寫,但這可是大集團富臨旗下的耶,個人最喜歡炮轟連鎖餐廳:收費不便宜,放些吊燈就在裝豪華,掛羊頭賣狗肉;廚房隨隨便便請些會拿鍋子的人煮菜,衛生隨便甚麼都隨便,好意思拿這些東西出來給客人吃?!想一家人

想一家人去吃頓飯弄得滿肚子火罵著走,很好奇那些給好評的人平常都在吃些甚麼。
