To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 年初三請太太家人晚宴,住將軍澳多年,常尋找新開的餐館。上次在將軍澳中心試了一間新開的中菜,但食後大家都覺得太失望,所以今次選擇潮庭開初有點猶豫不決,怕失禮。  但因為試過中環分店,水準很好,所以姑且一試。訂了8時,不需等已可入座(可能第一輪已清了很多枱)。我們五人叫入四人如意吉祥套餐,還加了一個砂鍋菠蘿海鮮燴飯。 富貴三式拼盤用西式下午茶三層架放上鹵水鵝片,涼伴豬腳凍和黃金蟹棗,有點心思,但量有點少,每樣四件,轉眼就清了。 油泡翡翠明蝦球的蝦球算很多和比較大,姬松茸螺頭燉雞份量亦很大,五人每人一碗還可以添多一碗。清蒸原條海石班,有點過熟和細。 最後蒜子上湯浸時蔬催了多次才姍姍來遲,可能新年太忙了。總括來說,我們食得開心,太太家人也住將軍澳,心幸又有多一間中菜館可以再幫襯了。註: 餐務員十分醒神,即使有怠慢,但都禮貌周周。
