壯男兵團飯局早就訂於八月尾遠赴太子,品嚐老字號近年蛻變成嘅「陳儀興尚潮樓」。由於訂位改期都有難度,七子無懼颱風蘇拉襲港,三號風球都照過海,醫飽咗個肚肚先算。據悉,1963年乃「陳儀興」祖店創業之年,新掌門人為咗不忘家族品牌跨世紀嘅歷練,新集團母店專登揀選喺同樣咁有歷史性嘅第三級保育建築物Hotel 1936內。餐廳正門嘅玻璃窗身後可見師傅備製靚鵝,門外亦有展出餐牌供食客參閱。兩層高嘅潮州菜館樓底高高,光鮮衛生,餐桌間有適當嘅距離,感覺十分舒適。店子中央長長嘅樓梯相信係保育嘅唐樓設計,簡單以荷葉燈飾及觔斗雲點綴,時尚秀逸得黎透出中國色彩。樓上雅座設有大圓枱,適合多人派對。近窗一排散座有個小露台,相信最受煙民歡迎。厚本餐牌中英對照,並附插彩圖。首兩頁先介紹功夫茶及潮汕飲品。其他汽水、啤酒等飲品則印於尾頁。由於開瓶費設於合理嘅$100/樽,食客大多都係自己帶酒,壯漢們當然亦不例外。傳統滷水菜式唔計相相共有兩頁。接著嘅四頁海鮮大多都係時價貨色,所以懶得上載。湯湯有自己一頁。魚翅海味又有一頁。其餘嘅潮州手功菜則有八頁之多。另有大廚時令推介。及精選套餐可選。人多食飯慣性已點定菜。每位席上都擺有齊備
