Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

值得一試湖南菜

到西貢覓食，經過一街角，看見一間外表似做遊客或外國人生意的中菜館，友人好奇，既然本沒有特定目的地，也不防一試。這店主要提供是湖南菜式，首先點了豆腐魚湯，其他餸菜聽店員介紹後再慢慢選擇。奶白色魚湯到來，除了魚鮮味外還加了白糊椒，味道多一層次，竟可以跟魚湯鮮味平衡，沒有一點咯喉感覺，飲得好舒服。鴨肉圓煎餅到，薄餅煎得剛好，完全不油膩，很多鴨絲，還是用手撕的，口感跟用刀切的固然不同，誠意可嘉。但若先吃此小食，因為太足料，胃口小的恐怕已半飽了。芫荽小炒黃牛肉，坊間比較少用芫荽當菜炒，喜歡芫荽味道的我一吃愛上了，牛肉非常嫩，沒有任何鬆肉粉，沒有多餘油份，火候控制一流。如果説湖南菜一味只落辣椒可能只是部份情況，但廚子能將食材帶向另一層次就另當別論，就像這味大碗花菜腊豬肉，肉的咸香加上辣椒提升了味道，很有風味，令人吃得過癮，平日午間不吃飯的我也吃了一整碗呢！
