To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

昨日公司拜神,每個同事各自買一啲食物,我就去咗維景酒店嘅海港買燒肉同叉燒各半斤,加埋$120,點知斬咗出嚟,兩盒加埋半斤都冇,燒肉得幾粒,睇個樣好乾,好似隔夜咁,一睇就知唔係半斤。返到公司,有另外一個同事都係買燒肉,佢喺燒味舖,買左腩肉同腩骨各半斤,比我貴少少,加埋$145。但係真係冇比較冇傷害,佢啲肉又鬆軟又新鮮,嗰啲皮睇落好脆,份量多過我三倍,搞到同事以為我縮骨買少啲。之後食落同事仲話我買啲燒味好鹹,鹹到苦。真係乜面都冇晒,以後都唔好喺海港買燒味啦,尤其是維景酒店呢間分店,食物品質奇差,同事話喺第二間分店買過都冇咁差嘅。
