To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

西灣河的素食選擇並不多，金膳是附近唯一的傳統齋舖，今次終於可以一嘗。下午2點左右去到，食客不多，店內有一些書法、畫作佈置，讓人感到舒服而又寧靜。門口也有一些可供外賣的齋菜、齋滷味之類。午市有客飯套餐，送一碗足料例湯。這次吃了這個「黑椒燒汁薯仔酥雞」，是薯仔加上素雞、椰菜等的配搭，有少許熱氣。份量很大，一個人勉強才吃得下。味道來說，不算很辣，以少許辛香味為主，十分惹味，送飯不錯~賣相算是合格以上啦。晚上還有一些小菜，款式好像也有點吸引，或許以後再試試。整體來說，這間素食的質素算是中上，價錢合理，環境舒適，份量略嫌多了少許，若浪費就不好了。

份量很大，一個人勉強才吃得下。味道來說，不算很辣，以少許辛香味為主，十分惹味，送飯不錯~賣相算是合格以上啦。晚上還有一些小菜，款式好像也有點吸引，或許以後再試試。
