在銅鑼灣時代廣場11樓最近新開了間主打韓風意大利菜的餐廳Mad for Garlic,以蒜頭做餐廳主題(看見店面都已經知道吧)。原來Mad for Garlic是韓國過江龍,除了在韓國有三十多間餐廳,更在韓國以外的國家如新加坡和印尼都有開設分店。這夜就抱著好奇的心態與朋友上去Mad for Garlic,一齊試試到底以蒜做主題的韓風意大利菜會是怎麼 餐廳裝修有點像一個酒窖,氣氛輕鬆自在。翻開Mad for Garlic (MFG) 的menu,發現幾乎全部菜式由頭盤、沙律、薄餅、意粉、主食甚至甜品都與蒜頭有關!當中大部份菜式除了肉類都是數十元至$150一下一客,定價頗為平易近人。大家先點些飲品,這杯「鮮露絲瑪莉冰茶」(fresh rosemary iced tea, $36),相當清新,而且rosemary的香氣自然。真沒想到Mad for Garlic會有自家紅、白酒,可以逐杯點或開一瓶。朋友就點了一杯Mad Wine 意大利紅酒($68/glass; $278/bottle)。小食我們選了菜名有趣的「德古拉殺手」(Dracula killer, $68)。原粒蒜頭與小鯷魚在滾熱橄欖

薄餅的餅底比較薄和脆,據知是用韓國麵粉做的。配料有蝦、菠蘿、巴馬臣芝士,以及炸蒜片,味道鹹中帶甜,食起來清新亦很夾。
