To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 1. 訂枱制度不合理 以手機程式訂枱本來系方便嘅,但到頭來容易令客人失預算,因爲往往一小時都無動靜,但亦可以忽然跳十幾個號碼。我到接待處攞枱時剛剛就就過咗一個號碼,佢地有其獨特嘅懲罰制度,會先俾後面號碼的客人攞枱,最後我要等多二十個號碼,先俾我入。呢個實際系一個攪亂檔嘅制度。2. 無服務 攞左枱飛,要自己盲中中去揾,佢地哋根本冇人手去帶位。送餐的嬸嬸都似系玩接力賽咁,點心一放底即走。每個員工都系木口木臉咁,甚或好不屑咁,令人好吾舒服。3. 座位設計太創新 二人枱系一張2呎乘2.5呎嘅西式長方枱,茶壺跟食物不能並存,枱面只足夠放一碟點心,茶壺亦要放旁邊的小方枱上面。4. 點心味道可以,但… 點心味道跟下一線的酒樓差不多,冇特別,只系價錢比人哋高,送到枱上的點心都只系微暖而已!總之就系受氣多於享受,我情願去平價的街坊酒樓!
