To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 參加了小友學校的家長會,只花了約十至二十分鐘便攪定走得。時間雖尚早,但一家三口的肚子已開始餓了,故此決定早一點開餐....要快一點吃完後回家安頓小友。在紅磡美食坊的唯一選擇,便只有"太興".....在太興,不用等多久便有得吃的選擇,表表者當然是她的燒味飯。最喜歡點一大碟八寶飯,貪其材料花款夠多又夠飽肚而已,論美味當然是稱不上是十分的好 ----切雞肉是胸位,咬落自然偏韌;义燒蜜味十分的重,但肉卻是"骨瘦如柴",太嚡了;墨魚不算太難咬,但卻只是像吃一件腍腍的膠質東西,入口是一點味道也沒有;紅腸是正常的味道,無甚可評;燒肉的芝蔴皮夠厚夠脆身,不過肉則太瘦太鹹;燻蹄同樣是瘦掹掹的,非常不濟;鹹蛋的蛋黃太死實且一點流油的跡象也沒有,完全可以不理.....太太要忙着照顧極度頑皮的他,根本無暇看餐牌,於是求求其其的要了魚香炸魚肚茄子跟飯。弄出來油光滿面已是意料中事,鹹魚茸香亦是全然吃不出來,令人失望;好在茄子大條得來算是夠淰,魚肚則甚是爽口。在嗦盡獻汁底下去吃,也算是不錯的....惟恐太太與大食小友分享一個飯不夠吃,也就再叫一客鮮牛油多來墊底。厚多士是烘得夠脆的,不過唯獨一點令人甚不解的便是一客四

惟恐太太與大食小友分享一個飯不夠吃,也就再叫一客鮮牛油多來墊底。厚多士是烘得夠脆的,不過唯獨一點令人甚不解的便是一客四小件多士,只其中兩件是夾有厚層未溶的鮮牛油,其餘的則只是塗上薄薄的全溶牛油。為何會有這種"厚此彼薄"的情況出現呢 ? 真是耐人尋味....

每次來太興都會喝她的店招牌冰鎮奶茶。茶味足而甜度也適中,而且最重要是真的夠冰凍。一下子咕嚕咕嚕的吞進喉嚨裡去,實在透心涼....
