踏入9月, 生日之星想食高檔牛肉, 於是生日飯局選定之前光顧過, 位於銅鑼灣世貿的牛襌, 一行4人向近江牛進發! 星期二晚上光顧的食客都很多, 幸好早早已訂了檯。上回吃過的近江牛, 大家都讚口不絕, 自然成為今晚的目標。 食燒肉離不開飲啤酒, 叫了罐期間限定的麒麟啤酒 $36。 日本啤酒入口麥味輕輕的, 適合邊食邊講邊慢慢飲。 洋蔥墨魚嘴 $88加入洋蔥炒香的墨魚嘴, 的的骰骰很香口, 帶點辣, 有點像雞軟骨口感般, 彈牙又有嚼口, 佐酒一流的餐前小食。 免治雞肉棒 $48/2條因為大家都好肚餓, 朋友已率先先吃。免治雞肉肉質鬆軟入味, 表面燒到金黃, 啖啖肉的, 加上調味配合, 同樣適合佐酒。 吃主角: 牛之前, 叫了五款刺身, 賣相甚吸引: 伊左目 $280條 - 較小接觸的一款魚, 於是叫來嚐嚐。魚肉白裡透紅, 清爽甜美, 魚脂量適中, 入口滑身得來又帶微微爽脆。 三文魚腩 $108 - 厚切的三文魚腩, 魚油香, 肥美肉厚。 金目鯛 $188 - 表面呈鮮紅色, 而魚肉則是淡紅, 魚肉柔嫩肥美, 味道鮮甜, 魚脂與魚肉比例均勻。 牡丹蝦 $78隻

這碟是新推出的菜式, 選用了近江牛小排的位置。用乾冰製造煙霧瀰漫效果, 如同火山噴煙般, 連聲驚嘆的賣相當然是加了分。 別以為乾冰只是賣弄視覺效果, 其實同時也保持牛肉的冰凍和新鮮, 牛肉夾到上碟一回已稍稍回軟了。
