要說對這新開幕的商場裡最期待的食肆, 莫過於這間了。還記得第一次到這店與家人茶聚,可能是期望太高,點心是吃得出有點水準的, 只是沒有帶來任何的驚喜。菜式最令人回味的地方, 除了色、香、味外, 個人還會留意制作者的用心及選材等。然而, 以 “私房菜”來命名, 總會讓人覺得就算是相同的菜式或點心也該會有點過人之處,於是便有這次再訪了。今次只有兩人而已,所以所點的菜式,以廚部/味部小食為主,期待能有點點驚喜。酥炸軟殼蟹 – 嚐第一口時, 有點燙口,外脆內軟,軟殼蟹的肉質算實在,表面加上了炸脆的蒜和辣椒粒,惹味之餘帶少點辣,配以酥炸茄子作墊底,吃一件軟殼蟹,再吃一件茄子,一個菜式帶出了兩種食材的對比感覺,略有驚喜。脆皮牛坑腩 – 這款菜式不是第一次吃,而這裡的牛坑腩並沒有被炆得很軟綿綿入口即化那種,但卻很入味,表面的脆皮加上軟軟的牛坑腩, 吃到脆加軟的層次,配以甜辣醬,帶出另一個味道來。 味道是不錯的, 只是我還是較喜歡吃清湯牛坑腩。京城煙燻素鵝 – 沒想到這不是冷而是熱的,嚐起來的味道亦比一般素鵝濃。還是第一次吃到這種味道的素鵝,但只是能當作另一種風味來嚐,卻並未能當是優勝之作。有機野米珍珠

有機野米珍珠雞 – 有別於一般珍珠雞,當中有咸蛋黃、乾瑤柱、大蝦乾等,餡料足並豐富。加上了煙韌有頭的有機野米,與軟軟的糯米結合而產生了層次。特別之餘亦稍有驚喜。

總括來說,這店比一般酒樓較舒適並略為安靜,在菜式中品嚐到制作/選材用心,價格略高卻合理。
