To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

荃灣三坡坊見完客，快快搵一間餐廳，未食過，又要冷氣夠。今午2點半，天氣焗到喘不過氣，空着肚，找地方嘆冷氣。下午茶，乾炒牛河+紅豆冰多奶。邊嘆冷氣，邊看手機。耳後聽到服務員很努力以普通話介紹食物給國內遊客，精神可嘉。两位熟客，一入門口，就問有冇蒸魚午餐。服務員和熟客，有講有笑，正爭論在街市買海鮮一定有呃重量。乾沙牛河，河粉很黐立立，一般水準。紅豆冰，紅豆唔夠淋，一般一般。不知不覺，嘆足45分鐘，才離去。
