To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 美國運通咭即將到期,把握機會用盡餐飲優惠。上一次食潮式凍蟹已經係兩三年前,今晚決定去拾回舌尖上的回憶。首先前菜亦是主菜:凍蟹。兩個人食飯,都唔叫太大隻,十八両重。賣相四肢健全,切開都排滿一大碟。蟹身肉厚,拆蟹亦乾淨。不過似乎蟹身未完全解凍,肉質未至於唔新鮮,不過缺少花蟹的鮮味。諗返起點菜是部長拿到枱前時,蟹是用保鮮紙包裹。我還問蟹唔係游水既?!到大酒樓點海鮮時,拍板前應先望一望合唔合眼緣食完蟹,就食下其他菜式。先有玫瑰焗盧魚。賣相一流,充滿光澤,份量亦夠晒大份。肉身滑溜,油份足夠,都沒有什麼可以批評。神奇既係,每次我想點既時候,通常都話賣晒。今次係部長返轉頭話有得賣,但要等相當長時間,言下之意,應該要從冰箱拿出來解凍。這不是批評,反而是讚美,未打折賣一份$65,你都不會相信是游水。但雪藏既都做到完美質素,佩服!佩服!中菜有鑊氣,份量亦足夠。最後來一客鵝肉菜粒炒飯。鵝肉粒味濃嫩口,砂窩保溫食到中段仍是溫暖既。不過太飽,食到一半,另一半明天辦公室繼續努力全單信用咭折扣半價,每位410。
