Restaurant: Tim Ho Wan, the Dim-Sum Specialists

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 朋友話想食點心,我記得朋友鐘意食叉燒包,所以就帶左佢黎呢間食。我們約6時半到達,餐廳人流不多,我們不用等位很快就可以入座。肚餓既我地一坐底就叫左三樣點心: 腐皮卷較乾,內餡亦很鬆散,和一般酒樓的腐皮卷沒有什麼分別;燒賣賣相較特別,口感可以但偏鹹;重點的叉燒包口感不錯,我很喜歡吃,但朋友說偏甜,吃一個就夠了。本來諗住再追加點心,但我地見味道一般,又開始愈黎愈多人,所以飲多兩杯茶就走了。整體來說,除了出名的叉燒包口感比較好之外,其他點心感覺亦很一般,價錢來說是就可以接受,但不值得刻意去排隊食。
