To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 今晚放工要過九龍,所以中午就打電話想訂尖沙嘴的八月居。但八月居中午已經話晚飯 full house,因為可能會落雨,未必開放露天位置。所以,就改到同屬美心於尖沙咀八月頭剛開業的「潮庭」。這裡環境十分舒服,而且又勤力幫客人添茶,明顯感覺到比其他美心集團更高級。當然,從大部分小菜的價位都賣差不多$100或以上,就知道這裡的定位較高。兩個人簡單點了三個價位較低的小菜後,就送上餐前小食及一碟六小杯功夫茶。餐前小食是有汁的青瓜花生豆乾,有點像北京樓+八月居的合體,口感是比較好,但因汁料較油,欠缺了清新的感覺。功夫茶,杯身溫度足、手感好,入口又甘又濃,兩個人每人三小杯,十分滿足。潮州蠔烙(約$80):第一眼看不太吸引,因為好像太薄太細份。但,原來蠔仔份量不少、而且蠔仔也算新鮮,所以也算不錯。鮑汁津白(約$100):以這個價位,我期望的真的不只一碟普通的蠔油汁津白。沒錯,津白是入味及可口,但卻令人有少許失望。(女友更認為味道太濃,但我覺得味道是適中的,只是欠了點點驚喜)釀豆腐煲(約$80):這小菜是女友最滿意的。釀豆腐下面,是大量清新的籮蔔絲、百合和黃豆。相比之前的津白,這小菜算是十分超值。白飯白粥

餐後,自動送上甜品 menu。簡單點了$24三件的咖啡糕,甜度適中,又帶點咖啡香味,合格有餘。
除此之外,他們亦再次送上一碟六小杯的功夫茶,真的不錯。
