To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 為了慶祝父親的生日,我們特意選了到南丫島食海鮮,而天虹海鮮洒家,是我們一家人的首選!如果有做一點資料搜查,你會發現天虹有自家的遊艇,可以選擇由中環或香港仔出發。到了酒家你會看到外面放滿了魚缸,客人可以即點即煮。今次我們點了酥炸魷魚、椒鹽瀨尿蝦、鼓椒炒聖子、芝士龍蝦、咕嚕肉和天虹炒飯酥炸魷魚是我們每次必吃的,因為每次都炸得香脆可口,但是今次有點失準,油份多了一點。芝士龍蝦啖啖肉,好味!瀬尿蝦300大元一隻,比起其他菜式,貴了一點,但吃得到瀨尿蝦的鮮甜味。鼓汁炒蟶子,炒得幾香口但辣味太重,對於吃得辣的人,是一碟不錯的菜式。咕嚕肉酸酸甜甜,十分開胃,菠蘿也很多汁,果然是一味得獎的菜式!食完午餐後可以係南Y島行下山,這個指定動作已經成為每年年初三的必備節且。
