To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 一行10人議論紛紛地商量出食牛角燒肉做晚餐,由於臨時決定,沒有book位,於是眾人浩浩蕩蕩地去walk in 牛角燒肉。食肆門外好多人,塞滿了walk in 或book左枱嘅人。幸好有朋友係金會員,亦令我認識到VIP(金會員)會員係排快隊,好快可以入坐,感覺好好。我們分別點了兩個會員限定4人餐,都好豐富!前菜:梅子番茄🍅、凱撒沙律。燒肉盛合:🥩肩脊肉,豚肉燒,厚切熊本豚腩肉,香蔥牛舌,雞肉 。日本極上九州黑毛和牛肉眼。五品野菜:秋葵,粟米🌽,雞髀菇,蘆筍,鮮山藥。四品野菌:雞髀菇,鮮冬菇,金菇,本菇。海鮮:鰻魚,🦀味增蟹肉甲羅燒。飯:牛角飯。甜品:牛角雪糕🍦好好味!整體感覺食材新鮮,值得一讚,有種意猶未盡!
