To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

香積廚素食館, 網上評語不俗, 一試.果然是旺角區, 中午, 右邊兩個日本青年, 邊吃邊看旅遊書.前面一個南亞家庭說說笑笑.餐牌趣緻, 雞寫成佳, 堅持素, 不帶一點肉.少吃素肉, 點了羅漢齋飯.一壼清茶, 不另收費.來了兩男兩女自由行.老闆娘招呼, 聽口音, 應該來自內地.點了幾樣, 老闆娘說, 好了, 不夠再點吧, 別浪費.中年男奇怪有錢不賺,老闆娘重複別浪費.同行年青女人認同, 男人就沒再說什麼.旺角開店, 這麼有原則, 難得.羅漢齋飯到, 清清淡淡, 白飯之中藏幾顆紅米.不油, 但對我的樸素味蕾, 還是略鹹.老闆娘捧例湯送食客, 不知如何向日本客人解釋, 旁邊幫口: "Free."奇怪, 沒有問我要不要.就是問, 應該會搖頭吧.吃不下, 別浪費.下次給我 "少鹽" 就可以了.
