To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 轉眼已很久沒有到過這裏飲茶了,依然是人頭湧湧。牛肉球先來,不禁和友人吃下兩粒,只剩下一粒才拍照。肉質依然是中上水準,可以。鮮竹卷是友人愛吃的一款,腐竹入口新鮮,不會有油膱味,配上內在食材,好吃。這裏最出名是魚肚點心,綿花雞是其中一款,雞肉分量雖少了一點,但魚肚水準仍靠得住。珍珠雞的糯米色澤分明,入口軟綿綿的。叉燒腸,叉燒大大件,腸粉質地軟滑。豆苗餃,豆苗新鮮,外皮不會太厚。叉燒酥,鬆化,內裏叉燒和醬料配答適宜,不太杰。最後來個甜品,焗西米布甸,這懷舊味,確不同。這裏最可愛就是有點心推車仔,是港人的回憶。
