A restaurant that perfectly embodies the cozy chill vibe of Izakaya in Japan. Food was also of great quality and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend booking ahead and requesting their tatami room! 😉 There was also an amazing performance by the store manager! And yes he sang in both Japanese and Cantonese! Their starter was also super unique, being a small bowl of pink soba noodles with a few strands of crab meat and okra! 👍🏻🍢Grilled Ox Tongue HKD 68 (for two skewers!)🍣雜錦刺身飯 Chirashi donburi

🍢Grilled Ox Tongue HKD 68 (for two skewers!)
🍣雜錦刺身飯 Chirashi donburi HKD 150
💭If you need something carb-heavy to set the tone for the rest of the meal (not me though 😂) then this is the perfect option. And considering the price point of sashimis on their menu, this is definitely great value for money.
🐙炸八抓魚粒 Deep-fried octopus HKD 65
💭Love the fun texture of the bite-size octopus pieces, especially the blobs of suckers on the octopus tentacles which I could still discern despite the layer of crispy batter on the outside.
🍢鰻魚生椒串 Unagi skewer with pepper HKD 90 (for two skewers)
💭I have always loved unagi 鰻魚 but recently I think I have a new-found love for conger eel 海鰻, which has a softer texture, milder taste and less bones. Mind you, this was a really good unagi skewer, texture was quite tender even after the grilling, and there was an extra kick of flavour from the pepper.
🐚帆立貝牛油煎 Pan-seared scallops HKD 98
💭Was truly impressed by the size of the scallops! Each piece was incredibly thick and cooked to perfection! Beautiful golden sear on the outside with a moist juicy centre. Would recommend!
🍤 大蝦天婦羅Prawn tempura HKD 100
💭Generous portion size and perfect for sharing. Served piping hot and the outer layer was super crispy! Personally though I found the batter a tad too thick.
🧊炸豆腐 Deep-fried tofu HKD 45
💭Great balance of flavours between the batter, soy sauce seasoning and tofu!
