To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

小時候對齋菜總提不起興趣,認為單單由青蔬組成的食物很沉悶。但隨著素菜的款式越來越新穎,加上身體承受不了每餐大魚大肉,現在偶意也會吃一頓「走肉」飯。適逢今天是農曆十五,又剛好經過齋舖金膳,於是就進內幫襯一下。眼見大部份食客都柯打羅漢齋炒麵,賣相似乎相當討好,我也不蝕底要了一碟。食物送上時熱辣辣,面頭舖滿了冬菇、蘑菇、草菇、麵筋和菜芯等素菜,食材種類多元化而顏色不單調。撥開餸菜夾一撮炒麵,單看麵條仍有脆身位置便知對辦,入口更能確定質素。近碟外圍的炒麵香脆可口亦較乾爽,中央位置因被茨汁洗禮而變得腍軟,而且充滿菇菌的芬香,可謂能夠一次過試齊兩種口感。那個玻離茨亦掌握能恰到好處,濃度調校得宜之外,亦為食物加添光澤。另一款鎮江排骨實在令我大開眼界,廚子在外型方面落足工夫,粒粒排骨猶如迷你版雞脾,賣相既cutie又過癮。這個菜式主要是把猴頭菇切粒,沾上薄粉再炸,外層金黃脆身內裏煙煙韌韌,質感頗像咕嚕肉。那個鎮江汁實在居功不少,酸酸甜甜的令人開胃,然而味道稍稍過濃,單吃的話味道較重,拌飯則覺得剛剛好。除此之外,我必須盛讚墊舖的四季豆,翠綠誘人不在話下,爽爽甜甜實在可口。今餐唯一不愉快的經歷是態度傲慢的

今餐唯一不愉快的經歷是態度傲慢的收銀員,因為聽聞這店可以申請九折卡,於是在結賬時便順道查詢。怎料收銀員顯出一副懶理的表情,起初扮聽不到,再追問時才搖兩下頭,連聲也不願開。其實當時只有我們埋單,說不上忙碌,問一下怎樣申請,她才說要光顧滿一百五十元。嘩!如果你不想招呼我們,大可以不推出優惠,這店的食物確實不錯,但有如此無禮的店員,實在令人印象大減!
