To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. [午市抵食@香港仔]海鮮拉麵 @ 牛角 ($69)評分: 7/10其實數碼港可以搭小巴出香港仔食飯㗎,只係10分鐘多啲就到。喺香港仔想搵個坐得舒服、平平地又好食既餐廳,首推香港仔中心既「牛角」(利申:小妹係「株式會社」會員)。不過如果星期五食就要注意唷,因為當日特別易滿座,要預早訂位。 除咗食牛肉之外,佢既午市定食有成 15 款。而平時小妹食開「雞腿肉香蔥溫泉玉子飯」,今次想食 light 啲,所以就試「海鮮拉麵」啦~ 海鮮包括1隻青口、2隻中蝦、2粒迷你帶子,同5隻蜆肉。拉麵屬於軟身,以 $69 價錢而言,海鮮份量比我想像中少咗啲,不過勝在夠鮮味。食完都唔會口喝。同埋呢個價錢包埋野飲,所以都算 OK 當然,要食正宗拉麵,還是建議去尖沙咀銅鑼灣一帶的日式拉麵專門店啦。
