To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 最近很來沒有吃過燒肉,一直念念不忘,所以就趁着今天和朋友去吃牛角,我們相約在銅鑼灣皇室堡那間分店去吃。這是牛肋肉,顏色十分鮮紅。而且這種牛肋肉是屬於脂肪含量比較少的牛肉。這是豬頸肉,脂肪分佈十分平均,而且這是預先加入醬汁的,因為是豬肉,所以要燒得比較耐。入口肉質十分爽口,另有芝麻香,而且味道十分香口。甜品方面選擇了銅鑼燒,是抹茶味。首先,先燒兩面各燒45秒,如果喜歡脆一些,可以燒耐一點。外皮十分香脆,但是入面還是實淨的抹茶雪糕,抹茶味很濃,偏甜的。
