To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

今日想食下齋，於是附近搵到呢間老牌素食舖幫襯下。侍應阿姨都算熱情既，但環境總體偏老舊，同埋以lunch呢個鐘數，人都唔算多。阿姨問我飲乜茶，其實唔係好想飲茶於是要白水，不過應該都係計計茶錢啦，咁我都算。嗌做一個時菜北菇燴飯，睇到價錢都66蚊，講真都已經唔平喇，點知比帳單我一睇，嘩！原來仲有加一好了係呢碟燴飯，讓我「承惠」84蚊。味道來說，OK啦有菜有菇，都交到貨啦，不過飯好多，最後幾啖完全齋食白飯。早知呢個價錢，我不如食日本野好過啦
