To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 對於我嚟講去南丫島食海鮮係整日的節目,我通常都又榕樹灣行過去天虹食海鮮,天虹不知不覺已經完全成為南Y島的代表,就算佢越來越貴但坐船去南丫島去天虹都係一件開心嘅事,今次四個大人一個小朋友,點了一個四人套餐$898,𥚃面抱括:鼓油皇煎中海蝦+椒鹽炸鮮魷+得獎咕嚕肉+清蒸游水石班+清炒白菜+牛油龍蝦,我另外加了"蒜蓉粉絲蒸元貝四隻$160"+"天虹炒飯$70"共八様嘢,可能今日星期六多人,有少少亂,所有菜的次序亂曬,首先嚟嘅係蒸元貝,上面有好多粉絲同蒜蓉和蔥,見到馬上食,元貝新鮮粉絲份量亦不小,唯一可改良嘅就係如果再加少少炸過的蒜蓉會更加好味,第二様到係得獎咕嚕肉,顏色鮮豔有菠蘿和青紅椒,汁係剛剛好痴曬落啲肉同配材,不會有汁太多水汪汪的感覺,全碟的咕嚕肉差不多都係肉,不會有骨,我like ! 炸粉可包住整個肉但也不會太厚,係屬於好食嘅咕嚕肉!之後到係炒飯,雖然佢賣相一搬,材料只有叉燒粒,一兩只蝦、蛋同蔥,但當佢熱辣辣上枱時,佢嘅香味真係隔離枱都聞到!加上佢飯炒到一粒粒係炒飯的精髓,當你之後再加上牛油龍蝦的油或蒸魚的鼓油,簡直係人間美味,所以天虹炒飯你係唔可以唔叫!之後到煎蝦,全部蝦都係用油泡
