To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

原來師傅唔識分半肥瘦叉燒

天氣熱，唔想煮飯，本想快快手手搞掂一餐，就去office附近龍記飯店買叉燒準備炒滑蛋。行到櫃面，見到滿滿蜜汁叉燒，肥瘦分明，令人食欲大振。於是問價買半斤叉燒，向落單個女人講明要半肥瘦，女人只落order一句:「半斤叉燒」，我怕師傅聽唔到，再重複講一次。結果手起刀落，最後盒面的都係超瘦肉，一望就知係湯渣式鞋皮肉，下層只有數片是帶少許肥膏的，師傅還說:「呢d係半肥瘦啦！」呢間野個名聽左好耐，卻名大於實，唔會再幫襯啦!
