To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

舊友聚會,反而喜歡找新去處,發現金巴利道街尾及柯士甸路一帶已經靜靜起革命,添了一些新店,繼周五於另一家法菜酒吧狂歡後,周日父親節不陪爸爸,相約十年不見的老朋友,就在寧靜一點的Lab Eat相聚。位於街尾盡頭,有尖沙咀區罕見的泊車位,餐廳亦有代客泊車服務。踏入餐廳,感覺開揚,可能是樓底高之原因,裝潢以油畫為主,有古典瑰麗之感。面前就是酒吧,酒藏相信不少。半開放式廚房,Parma Ham 及 Roasted Beef 皆吸引。朋友姍姍來遲,我只好先獨享cocktail,Cuban Surprise, 顏色金黃,主要是Rum酒加香蕉liqueur,也許加了些菠蘿汁,酒不過濃,味道甜美,冰涼可口,女士口味。無事忙只好閱讀餐牌,是晚有父親節晚餐。午丶晚餐價錢非常合理。與經理閒聊,得知大廚來自朗豪酒店,餐廳仍在試業,主打菜式未定,但田螺、生牛肉是廚師推薦。等待了四十多分鐘,朋友終於到達,馬上起菜。哈哈!內心等待之無聊,需要以美食填補,免得十年不見,卻以責備開始。忍!!麵包是西菜之靈魂黑白芝麻豐富的麥包,及似有雪花粉身的sourdough bread 即時打了支強心針,暖暖的煙靱包身,輕輕蘸些橄欖油

生牛肉肉質柔軟嫩滑,片片輕身,身上沾滿橄欖油更是油潤,入口即溶,選材上乘。隨伴了芥茉醬亦出色,混淡了芥茉之強烈刺鼻味道,反見跟牛肉合襯,果然是酒店水準。

無話可說,就是皮脆肉嫩,魚皮煎至薄身香脆,白雪的魚肉上有焦黃色調,賣相吸引,調味恰當,油潤幼滑,無需任何醬汁已是滋味。

只是配時蔬簡單了些,翠玉瓜爽甜,洋蔥亦無犯錯,但伴以普通的炸薯粒及番茄醬就降低了格調,多了些快餐感覺,依我口味,還是配薯蓉及完整大片薯片有睇頭些。

新場未旺,亦可能是父親節之關係,街尾之一角,寧靜舒適,磪是相約舊友暢談,伴以水準食品之選。
