To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

未食過這麼好食的羊腩煲,又是秋冬季節,最好食羊腩煲保䁔一下。上星期就由朋友帶我到土瓜灣區安徽街一間好味道的喜滿樓菜館。餐廳主打懷舊住家菜及地道風味小菜,最出名是芝麻雞。剛遇上氣温驟降,叫份古法雙冬羊腩煲。一打開蓋,陣陣香味撲鼻,羊腩炆得夠味,原來個羊腩汁可以當湯先喝,老闆娘話個羊腩汁加了滋補中藥材,再加上老薑炆製,補而不燥,不油不膩,老幼皆宜。最特别的是汁底用腐乳而不是柱候酱,飲落咸甜適中,免費送一碟腐竹及唐生菜,食完暧笠笠,不口乾。
